A bubble machine. Best 20 dollars I have ever spent. This machine spits out bubbles with no delay. The girls LOVE it. And I do too as I have been getting dizzy over how many bubbles I am expected to blow. Stella finally learned how to blow bubbles herself. Phoebe desperately wants to do the same but just ends up spilling bubbles all over our deck and herself. The girls had a blast today with the bubble machine. It was like Fall outside, sunny and a nice 63 degrees. We spent all afternoon jumping in leaves, blowing bubbles, swinging, and playing in the sandbox. I'll take our Fall in December any day. New England, you can keep your snowy winters. I took a gazillion pictures of the girls playing with the bubbles today. My new camera makes it almost like time lapse photography. If you click the pictures one after the other it almost appears to be a movie. I am going to fill up my hard drive mighty quickly.
She was really practicing...
Look at those bubbles!
It is so much easier to catch a smile with my new camera. Thank goodness.
This picture chokes me up. Sisters sitting...
A glimpse of a bit of mundane daily life and some more interesting treats so that we can stay connected to friends and family.

Christmas 2011
This Christmas was one for the record books. Phoebe was very ill with
an ear infection and most likely a sinus infection also. She has this
horrible history of spiking very high fevers. The first few times were
utterly terrifying but now I am getting used to seeing 104.5 on the
thermometer, however, I really don't enjoy seeing it. On Christmas Eve
she was running her 3rd night of fever and at one point she felt like
lava and it was about 105 degrees. So off to Walgreen's Brian was sent
to get us some Children's Tylenol (We already maxed her out on her Advil
and she needed some relief). He got to experience a pharmacy at 3 am
on Christmas Eve, apparently it was business as usual...how odd.
Needless to say, Christmas morning was rather exhausting. Phoebe was
cranky, sleepy and clingy. Brian and I were exhausted and poor Stella
just wanted to open those gifts immediately. She wasn't liking having
to wait to give her sister her medicine and allow me to make coffee to
revive us from our sleepless night. But we enjoyed our day very much.
We all took a very needed Christmas nap and got to spend the rest of the
day with all the many new toys Santa brought the girls.

All Stella asked Santa for was a "Boots" the Monkey stuffed animal. She was delighted to find him peaking out of her stocking on Christmas morning. He he is taking a ride down Phoebe's new toy.
Yeah for antibiotics and advil!!
The Blog is back!
So it it time to start updating the blog. I realize that it is a very useful way to look back on Stella's developments. I can just go to the year, the month, etc. and see what she was doing at 15 months and just get a neat comparison to what Phoebe is doing. But poor Phoebe, since being born I think there are 3 blog updates! I have made a New Year's resolution to disband from facebook (monumental waste of my precious, precious time) and in order to update friends who care and family on our lives I will revive the blog. Here are some pictures with my new camera of Stella and Phoebe enjoying the most amazing toy ever: the laundry basket!! They spend many an hour in the laundry basket together.

Oldie but goodie singing Stella
Stella was in rare form singing all sorts of favorites a few months ago. I love capturing videos because I never want to forget the sweet voice of a 3 year old singing.
And Twinkle Twinkle...
And a made up goodie...

Oh My Darling...
Stella has always had a love of music. She loves to listen to it and also loves to sing. Here is one of her new favorites. She calls it her "favorite sad song". I like the part of "drack I am sorry, Clementine"

Sorry for the explosion of posts. We just got our new computer and downloaded over 1000 photos onto Picasa. I am messing around with it and learning the ins and outs. Here are some cute ones of spring.
