I like to take a lot of pictures of Stella eating. I guess because she seems to enjoy it so much. She does start off with food in a bowl or plate but she always dumps it onto her tray. We are working on correcting this annoying habit.
Stella pulled off "Buddhism for Beginners" off our bookshelf and she was quite amused by her initial reading.
Then she started to feel more philosophical about it.
Stella's first bike ride. It was a hit. She liked trying to tickle me as I peddled up hill.
Stella picked out her new helmet today. Bike seat was used, but her helmet was new and she chose the yellow helmet with chicks much to my delight as the other helmet was bright pink. She said "peep, peep" while putting her new helmet on.

Stella just started saying her PA cousins names while she eats dinner because she usually sits directly in front of their picture. I was totally surprised when she pointed to the picture and called them by their names. She has only seen them 4 times in her little life! But she must love them dearly. It is hard to hear her as of course I took the video while she was eating.

Family and Fun

We went to Houston last weekend and Stella had fun seeing all her extended family. Unfortunately we usually are having too much fun and forget to take enough pictures but here are the few we took of Stella with her Aunt "Mimmi"
Her Uncle Nauman which she can say perfectly. She LOVES her Uncle Nauman. In fact, when I picked her up from daycare the Monday after we returned the first thing she said was "Nauman" and she wants to look at the picture of the two of them all the time!

Stella just got this new (to her) bike seat on Thursday. She was so excited to sit on it she couldn't even wait until it was installed on the bike. I can't wait to see her face when we actually get to take her for a bike ride!

More 4th of July Fun

Happy Fourth of July

Stella was not feeling 100% this Fourth of July, but she still got pleasure out of playing in the sandbox in only a diaper (who needs clothes in Texas)

Playing in the baby pool since we can't go to the big public pool and infect all the other swimmers with Stella's cooties
